Calcium Reactor Still Idle

The calcium reactor still sits on my floor not installed. Due to a plumbing issue, of course. And my friend is sending me a big box of SPS frags tomorrow. Guess I’m gonna have to get serious about the kalkwasser for a while. I wonder is ca reactors need to break in or anything

Weather hot now.
Fuzz has become a mat of greenish brown hair algae. It seems to grow on hard surfaces below a certain elevation in the tank.
